300 million euros extra: E-car buyers expect a new windfall
Those who switch from petrol or diesel to an e-car not only benefit from purchase premiums. The private charging station, called a wallbox, is also subsidized. After the funds were recently scarce, things can now go on. An additional 300 million euros are now available.
300 million euros: e-cars are funded through wallboxes
E-car drivers and those who want to become one can look forward to it: The Federal Ministry of Finance is donating additional funds to promote private charging stations for e-cars, the so-called wall boxes. In addition to the previously approved and now used up 500 million euros come again 300 million more (Source: dpa via t-online). The funding can continue.
This means that 100 million euros more will be made available than Federal Transport Minister Andreas Scheuer asked for at the beginning of July. With this money, the federal government continues to support the installation of private wall boxes.
