Less energy tax
You have probably noticed: gas prices are flying through the roof, causing energy bills to rise sharply. That is why the government will lower the energy tax in 2022 and the discount you will receive will increase from 560 euros to 825 euros. Don’t count yourself rich right away, because because gas prices are rising so quickly, there is a good chance that your energy bill will increase.
Lower mortgage interest deduction
Do you earn more than 69,398 euros annually? Then you will not be happy with this rule. In 2022, you can still deduct the mortgage interest and other costs of the home at a maximum of 40 percent. Previously it was 43 percent.
The health insurance premiums increase on average by a few euros per month. How much exactly, depends on your insurer. If you are entitled to health care allowance, you will benefit: for multi-person households, the amount will increase by a maximum of 60 euros per year.
