2 GB extra RAM and free? Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G can do it

Some time ago, we wrote to you about the fact that MIUI will soon acquire a function that allows you to add virtual RAM memory and potentially increase the performance of the phone. This is what is happening now, and the Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G is the first phone where you can try this option. But over time, other models are to be added.

Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G allows you to add 2 GB of virtual RAM

This is not the first time that a telephone manufacturer has taken such a step. Let’s remember for example vivo X60, where it is possible to get up to 3 GB of virtual RAM memory. Thanks to the new MIUI update, it is possible to add 2 GB of RAM on the phone Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G. Basically, you will lose the same capacity of your memory and it will be assigned to RAM depending on the needs of the phone. The update is currently available in China, but will soon be extended to other regions.

The update is relatively small and the news list does not reveal any additional features. So it is clear that Xiaomi specializes in this update only in this novelty.
