Zuckerberg flies out of top 100 most popular CEOs

For the first time since 2013, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg did not make it into the top 100 most popular bosses. The 37-year-old continues his downward trend in the Glassdoor ranking.

Every year the job platform Glassdoor publishes its ranking of the most popular CEOs of companies with more than 1000 employees. Always at the forefront: Mark Zuckerberg. This year, however, the Facebook CEO only got approval ratings of 88 percent.

Although it is above the majority of the managers rated – the average rating is 73 percent – it is still not enough for 100th place. Martine Ferland, Mercer CEO, has 90 percent. For Zuckerberg, this year’s assessment by his employees continues a downward trend. In 2013, when nominated for the first time, it entered first place and remained in the top 10 until 2017. Since 2018 it has been losing approval, falling within one year from 16th to 55th place in 2019. VW boss Diess with good values

The Glassdoor list is now topped by others. Rich Lesser, CEO of the Boston Consulting Group, secures the top this year. He was able to convince 99 percent of his employees. Shantanu Narayen has also succeeded in doing this. The Adobe boss is on par with Lesser.

According to the Glassdoor ranking, VW boss Herbert Diess also had an approval rating of 99 percent in Germany. He ranks first among the most popular managers and is on par with Nikolai Setzer, Continental CEO, and IKEA boss Jesper Brodin. They also achieved approval ratings of almost 100 percent. Satya Nadella, Microsoft CEO, landed in seventh place. This year he was the only one to make it into the top 10 in all participating countries. The Glassdoor ranking is published annually in the United States of America, Canada, Great Britain, France and Germany. The special thing about the reviews is that they are based on the information provided by employees.
