YouTube is planning to save you mobile data on the go

If you are an individual who does not have an unlimited data plan, it will certainly hurt you at least a little when you watch a YouTube video. However, Google is preparing a feature that will alleviate your hassle. It’s called smart download and based on your preferences to you downloads 20 videos to your phone once a week (Of course, only when Wi-Fi is available).

The operation of this function is therefore quite obvious. Save mobile data on the go while being able to watch your favorite video in your spare time. Since the YouTube algorithm works (at least in our experience) quite well, and in most cases we choose the content to watch almost immediately, we’re not afraid that nonsense will be downloaded to your phone.

The feature will be available to YouTube Premium subscribers in Europe. You can try it now via Settings> Try new features. However, at the time of writing, it was not yet available.
