You can now protect your Fitbit account in two ways. How to do it?

Fitbit (currently officially owned by Google giant) is finally introducing a two-factor system (2FA) login to user accounts. People who use access to the application with watches or other devices of this brand thus receive the possibility of better protection of their data and information. The novelty is currently gradually activated in mobile applications for Android and iOS. Meanwhile, Fitbit is introducing duplicate login in its basic form. That is, using SMS codes.

You will be informed that you have the function available by the application itself. After entering the phone number, the option of this advanced security will appear in the account settings. After successful launch, the application will continue to require not only an email and password, but also code from SMS. If you re-enter the wrong code again, your account will be suspended for 24 hours. This is the most primitive way of 2FA, which is not bulletproof, but it is a hint of a good trend. Fitbit is introducing a two-factor login at a time when a login via Facebook is being prepared on its website. Which is another very useful feature not only for existing but also for new users.

Where else do you already have 2FA turned on?
