Xiaomi Mi Smart Clock official: small smart display next to your bed

Xiaomi has announced a small smart display. The Mi Smart Clock works with Google Assistant and would like to conquer a place next to your bed.

During its European online launch event of the Redmi 9T and the Redmi Note 9T, Xiaomi came up with another surprise. The Chinese company is launching a small smart display called the Mi Smart Clock. it can serve as a clock and alarm next to your bed, but it also works with the Google Assistant.

The Mi Smart Clock has a minimalist design with large bezels around the 3.97-inch screen. The device can answer voice commands from the Google Assistant and it also has Chromecast built-in. In addition, it can show the time, the weather forecast, a slide show of your photos and your calendar.

Smart Home Controls

Furthermore, according to Xiaomi, the device also works as the focal point for operating your smart home. For example, you can consult video images from your security camera on the screen. Xiaomi comes further with a ‘Sunrise alarm’. This means that the screen lights up more and more before your alarm goes off so that you are awakened in a more natural way.

The Smart Clock from Xiaomi also has a built-in 1.5 inch speaker and two microphones that record your voice from a long distance. The whole concept sounds familiar, of course, because it is reminiscent of the concept of the Lenovo Smart Clock Essential.

Price and availability
