Wow: mother supports other parents financially in a very special way

“When we had our first child, we struggled to make ends meet,” says Krystal Duhaney. “Now that I have a successful business, I wanted to give something back.”

Krystal leads an organization that helps mothers breastfeed. She and her husband decided to donate money to other parents to give them financial support. And she did that in a very playful way: she hid money notes in packs of diapers and baby food in the supermarket.

Hygienic

In total, it is an amount of one thousand dollars. “We want to make it a little easier for other parents,” says Krystal. “Hopefully we’ll brighten their day when they find the gift.”

She does add, just to be sure, that she took hygiene into account. ‘Packages of baby food are sealed, so of course the money didn’t come into contact with the milk powder. And diapers are well packed in the box.’

Inspiration

Krystal would love it if other people were inspired by her action. “I hope more people spread something so beautiful, a kind gesture.”

Chances are, her post quickly went viral. Many people were very impressed. “It’s great that you guys are giving back in this way,” one person wrote. Another says, “Thank you for putting a smile on the faces of the families who will receive these gifts.”
