Suddenly it was there. A new weather widget that will appear in the Windows 10 system tray next to the icons on the right. My first guess was that I caught an additional widget somewhere via a program. But it is exactly the opposite. It comes from Microsoft and was integrated into Windows 10 without my consent. This is how you get rid of it.

Windows 10: Fuzzy weather widget appeared in the taskbar

I was amazed when I switched on my PC and suddenly a weather widget appeared in the system tray. Have I caught another unwanted browser or antivirus program extension? But on the contrary. Microsoft gave me this function with a Windows 10 update. Indeed it was I simply added the weather widget to my taskbar without my consentthat is not even sharply represented. It’s completely out of focus and doesn’t look finished. I am not using a beta version of Windows 10. How can such an unfinished solution be rolled out to millions of PCs?

Behind the weather widget of Windows 10 is namely not just a new weather app from Microsoft, but the news app. These were secretly distributed to Windows 10 users in order to share messages and other content. Weather widget in Windows 10 does not go down well at all

The weather widget for Windows 10 is not completely new. In the beta versions it was already used and the testers reported the blurred appearance and other problems with it. Microsoft ignored the concerns and published a faulty version that is now annoying users. For example, I sometimes don’t see the text at all. In addition, the location was wrong. Similar messages there are also from other sources. You really wonder why Microsoft has a beta program for Windows 10 if the errors reported by the testers are ignored.
