Will Honor go to the “flexible”? Registrations suggest this

It seems that the Chinese brand Honor, which broke away from the original parent company Huawei a few months ago, will start making flexible phones. Several product names that the company has registered with the relevant institutions talk about it. Those names are Honor Magic Fold a Honor Magic Flip, which corresponds, for example, to the labeling of flexible mobile phones from Samsung. The phones could reportedly arrive on the market this year, or in the first quarter of 2022.

The registration of the mentioned names took place in China and it is probably possible to read at least the basic design type of both devices. If we start from Samsung labeling, Fold will be vertically opening, Flip connects again to “Clamshell” style. The new registrations don’t even point to just two flexible Honor phones. The company also had the names registered Honor Pen, Honor Pad a Honor Flex. The third mentioned device could be a telephone with a scrollable design. We’ll see what the manufacturer, who recently got back to the originally banned Google applications, gets caught up with.
