Bug: Safari users’ browser history is on the street

The current version (15) of Safari on the iPhone, iPad and Mac contains an annoying bug. According to FingerprintJS browsing activity and Google Account data is shared with others.

Apple is now working on solving the problem. Hopefully, macOS Monterey, iOS 15, and iPadOS 15 will soon include an updated version of Safari. However, Apple did not specify how long it will be before the fix becomes available.

Evidence: New iPhone SE and iPad on the way

Apple will soon release a new iPhone SE. A new iPad is also on the way, although it is unclear which model it is. This is evident from code names that Apple has registered with the Eurasian Economic Commission, a database in which makers must register new products.

This time, new model numbers for iPhone and iPad models have been spotted in the database. The first is easy to guess: that must be a registration of the iPhone SE 2022. When it comes to the iPad, there are two candidates: the iPad Air or iPad Pro.

iPhone SE 2022 will be released at the end of April

Speaking of the new iPhone SE, last week a rumor surfaced about the release date of the model. According to Ross Young, a generally reliable analyst, Apple will release the affordable model at the end of April.

According to Young, production will begin this month. Because the assembly will start in March, the telecom insider expects Apple to release the iPhone SE 2022 at the end of April. Last week, the design of the new iPhone SE also leaked. Those photos show that the device will have the same design as the current model, which came out in 2020.

Review update: you really don’t want iPhone XS and XR in 2022

The iPhone XR and iPhone XS are (refurbished) still for sale, but is it smart to still look at these older smartphones in 2022? Maybe, but it really isn’t smart.

Rumor: iPhone 14 (Max) will not have a ProMotion screen

Well-informed Apple analyst Ross Young says on Twitter that ProMotion will not be expanded to the full iPhone 14 series. A screen with 120 Hz therefore remains an exclusivity of the more advanced Pro models.

This means that ProMotion is not yet making its way to the cheaper iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Max. Young’s tweet quickly follows a rumor claiming that the entire iPhone 14 series will have a ProMotion display. According to analyst Young, this information is incorrect.
