Scandalous! Netflix with ads is getting so expensive

Netflix comes with a ‘cheaper’ subscription with advertising. However, this package is not going to be very cheap. In the United States, the subscription will cost 7 to 9 dollars per month, reports Bloomberg.

That’s a hefty amount, especially when you consider that the cheapest Netflix subscription now costs $9.99 a month – and has no ads. Whether and when the package with advertisements will come to the Netherlands is still unknown.

Buy iPhone 14: you can pre-order on this day

On September 7, Apple will announce the iPhone 14 series. It has not yet been officially confirmed when the new devices will go on sale. However, we can make a thorough estimate based on previous years.

Traditionally, the new iPhone can be pre-ordered the Friday after the Apple event. Pre-order is therefore probably possible from (Friday) 9 September. You can always pre-order from 14:00 Dutch time.

WhatsApp and Instagram get more paid features

WhatsApp and Instagram will get more paid features in the future. That says the parent company Meta, which also owns Facebook, among others.

It is not yet clear what these new paid functions will be. John Hegeman of Meta said in an interview that they in any case do not intend to turn off the advertisements in the apps for a fee.
