WhatsApp will change the display of messages and add reactions
WhatsApp is preparing two changes in its application, namely new for conversation bubbles and reactions, a bit like those found on iMessage.
• When you send a reaction, you can select any emoji.
• Messages can have an infinite amount of reactions, but if you have more than 999 reactions, you will read “999+”.

Reactions on WhatsApp will be in the form of Emojis which will be placed below the messages. This will be a way to react to a message without having to write a response.
According to WABetaInfo, it will be possible to put as many reactions as possible. There is also the number displayed. It will be up to 999. Beyond that, the information displayed will be 999+. Also, the reactions are not anonymous. Anyone in a group conversation can thus know who reacted with which emoji or which emoji.
Another, more subtle, change concerns conversation bubbles. We find rounded bubbles, instead of having rectangles with rounded angles. Also, WhatsApp has revised the green slightly, whether it is with the light theme or the dark theme.
WhatsApp does not yet say when the reactions and the new display of chat bubbles will be available to all users. It is under development.
