WhatsApp confirms the arrival of three new features: disappearing mode and more

The first new feature being talked about is the multi-device support. In the future, it should be possible to connect the same WhatsApp account with up to four devices. This will also include end-to-end encryption. Thanks to multi-device support, the application should also work on the Apple iPad.

There will also be a disappearing mode. This will automatically delete messages after 7 days. Another feature that will be rolled out is ‘View Once’. This gives the recipient the opportunity to view a photo or video once. Then it disappears. The feature cannot prevent someone else from taking screenshots of it.

In the next two months, a first step should be made with the availability of new features in the beta version. For the time being, this concerns the multi-device support. Once developed from there, they will also be available in the final version, but this will take a little longer.
