Manufacturer Xiaomi will unveil a new Poco smartphone next week: the Poco M3. The device will be unveiled on November 24 and the first specifications may already be known.

Poco, a sub-brand of the Chinese Xiaomi, announced on Twitter that a new smartphone will be announced on Tuesday, November 24. It is the Poco M3, which will be revealed during an online event. The smartphone is the successor to the Poco M2, which appeared earlier this year, but not in the Benelux.

The new Poco M3 may be released here, although nothing is known about this yet. Although Poco does not release anything about the smartphone, the first specifications are probably already known. Website Gizmochina writes, for example, that the Poco M3 is powered by a Snapdragon 662 chip. This processor is also in the Motorola Moto G9 Play and Moto G9 Power.

In addition, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage space would be present. This indicates that the Poco M3 is becoming a cheaper smartphone. Furthermore, the device would have a 6.53 inch screen with a small notch for the 8 megapixel selfie camera. Finally, rumors are talking about a 48 megapixel camera on the back and a 6000 mAh battery with support for fast charging. The Poco M3 would run on Android 10 out of the box.

Poco X3 NFC appeared earlier this year

A few months ago Xiaomi released the Poco X3 NFC, a budget smartphone with remarkably good specifications. For example, it has a smooth 120Hz screen, something we rarely see in this price range. The Poco X3 NFC also has a quad camera on the back, a large 5160 mAh battery that charges quickly and a fingerprint scanner on the side.
