We know the European award Sony Xperia 1 III. You will definitely not be pleased

The latest information about the Sony Xperia 1 III smartphones once again confirms that Sony continues its stubbornness. The GSMAren portal addressed the topic.

Sony Xperia 1 III offers top equipment, but also price

The flagships from the Japanese manufacturer still have their fans, but there are not many of them. Their advantage is that they have a different, original and attractive design for some. But a display with an aspect ratio of 21: 9, thicker frames above and below it, and especially the high price can be discouraging.

This will probably be the case with the latest addition, Xperia 1 III. A well-equipped smartphone with a 4K display, 12 GB RAM, quality cameras, the first 4K display with a frequency of 120 Hz and uncompromising performance will not be cheap. According to the GSMAren portal, the European price is set at € 1,299.

Compared to the TOP flagships of other manufacturers, it may appear to be adequate. But if we include other details, this smartphone will be difficult. Forecasts certainly do not predict great sales.

The competition is fierce

The competition always offers something extra. For example, the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra has an interesting set of cameras, a larger battery, longer support and brand strength. iPhones are a category in themselves and have their fans. Interestingly, Xperia is the most expensive to use from these models (when comparing versions with basic memory).

We definitely do not doubt the qualities of this smartphone, it will definitely be among the top. The question remains how customers will react to this. The sale of the news should start on August 6.

A scale flagship with similar parameters but more compact dimensions, the Xperia 5 III, should cost 925 euros. That’s not the least.
