WDR dares to come out of cover

The broadcasting fee could face a massive increase. WDR is the first broadcaster to come out of cover and give concrete figures. Together with the higher financial requirements of ZDF, contributors could have to dig much deeper into their pockets.

The radio contribution flushes billions into the coffers of ARD and ZDF. Nevertheless, the fee, which is currently EUR 18.36 per month, could soon increase. It already seems to be the case with Westdeutscher Rundfunk to give concrete ideas about the increase.
