Vodafone is changing subscriptions: this is about to change

Vodafone will adjust its Start and Red subscriptions from 1 February. Rates and data bundles of existing subscriptions have been adjusted and two subscriptions will disappear.

Vodafone changes subscription

From 1 February, the prices, conditions and bundles of the Vodafone Red and Start subscriptions will change, Vodafone reports. These changes apply to subscriptions that are renewed, or newly connected, from February 1, 2021. In short, the data bundles in the Start M and Start L subscriptions will be increased and so will the prices. The Red subscription will be cheaper, but there is also a smaller data bundle in return.

These are the main changes:

Vodafone Start

• Start M and Start L: Increase in data bundles of 1.5GB (from 1 GB) and 4 GB (from 2 GB) respectively.
• Start M and Start L: Price increase to € 13.50 (was € 12.50) and € 17.50 (was € 15.50) respectively.
• It Start XL subscription expires.

Vodafone Red

• Red: We lower the data bundle from Red to 12.5 GB (from 20 GB). Do you also have Ziggo? Then this will be 25 GB.
• Red: We are reducing the price of Red to € 27.50 (was € 31). Do you also have Ziggo? Then it only costs € 22.50.
• Red: The invoice discount for Red is canceled.
• Red Unlimited and Red Together: We are increasing the invoice discount to € 2.50 (was € 2).
• Red Unlimited: We are lowering the price of Red Unlimited to € 35 (was € 38). Do you also have Ziggo? Then it only costs € 30.
• Red Together (+ Ziggo): We are lowering the price of Red Together to € 32.50 (was € 35). Do you also have Ziggo? Then it only costs € 27.50.
• It Red Essential subscription expires.

Do you already have a Red subscription?

Then nothing will change for you. These changes only apply to new connections and renewals. Red Super subscribers will receive an offer by e-mail to switch to Red Unlimited free of charge. Nothing will change for Red Essential customers. Only with an extension they can no longer opt for this subscription.

Do you already have a Start subscription?

Then you will automatically receive an upgrade of your data bundle as described above. This applies to the Start subscriptions that are connected after March 2019. The subscription price and contract date will remain the same. All Start subscriptions that are connected or extended after today (February 1) are subject to the new conditions.

Vodafone also provides all Red subscriptions with 5G access. Customers with a Start subscription can connect the 5G Add-on to access 5G. This costs € 2 per month and can be activated via My Vodafone.
