Virtuos reportedly makes a remake of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater -apkrig

Video Games Chronicle has released its own report that Konami is set to revive the Metal Gear, Silent Hill and Castlevania brands through new premium games and remakes. The Japanese company, which has significantly reduced its production in recent years and faced loud criticism from fans, is preparing for a big comeback, according to VGC sources. The website recalls that the last big Metal Gear was criticized by the Metal Gear Survive from 2018 after the departure of Hide Kojima, and players are waiting even longer for Castlevanie’s big sequel.

Nikoli Bluepoint, ale Virtuos

In the past, there have been a few hints and promises that Konami wants to entrust its prized brands to other developers. The most frequent speculations were about the Silent Hill series – for example in connection with the Polish Bloober Team – and Metal Gear, on which, according to behind-the-scenes reports, the American Bluepoint Games were to work. Now, based on its sources, VGC says that the new Castlevania will be the first to turn, and it is about reimagination, which is even in development internally directly in Konami, Japan with the help of local external studies. Last week, the company also announced the compilation of the Castlevania Advance Collection.

Although it has been repeatedly said that Bluepoint Games are working on a remake of Metal Gear Solid, which has, for example, a remake of Demon’s Souls, according to VGC, this project is being created in another team. It’s supposed to be Virtuos, which also specializes in ports and improved versions of older games. The title is already in development and is reportedly a new version of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater and not the first Metal Gear Solid. Although number one is directly on offer, number three is a great game and a possible remake was talked about years ago, when improved cut scenes in Fox Engine appeared in the MGS3-inspired pačinko slot machine.

Several Silent Hills

Konami allegedly intends to release more MGS remasters as well, before embarking on a larger project. And as for Silent Hill, VGC again writes that various external studios are working on several titles. Bloober Team is supposed to be one of them, on the contrary, the British Supermassive Games did not agree with Konami of their time, as discussed earlier. One of these current projects is to be created in a prominent Japanese team…

Konami should reportedly communicate their plans publicly for an event next year. The company eventually withdrew from this year’s E3 and during Gamescom presented mainly eFootball 2022, which, however, still looks the way it does. It has previously been written that Konami has in the past refused to outsource their brands after virtually dissolving most of their own teams, but this view should have been reconsidered by management. The reason was, among other things, the disappointment of the in-house projects Metal Gear Survive and Contra: Rogue Corps.

So that the Pačinko era would finally end and Konami would once again become one of the big video game companies?
