The update does not lack January security and screen capture functionality

Xiaomi Mi A3 had problems with updates a year ago with Android 10. In December, however, the owners of the model received updates to Android 11. But it had to be stopped immediately because it made the device a broken brick. Xiaomi quickly fixed the problem, but even though the next update was functional, it lacked one of the system’s native features. In addition, it had an older December security patch, even though it was already January.

Xiaomi is now launching a third attempt with an update to Android 11, which has January system security. It also lacks the missing system function, which is native screen recording in the form of video. The update is marked V12.0.4.0.RFQMIXM and a size of 329 MB. You can check its availability in Settings -> System -> Advanced -> System Update. Prior to installation, make sure that your smartphone battery is at least 70% charged.

What does Android 11 bring?

• Voice control. Faster and easier access to applications thanks to intuitive voice commands without the need to connect to the Internet.
• Greater security. Further security and privacy updates are made automatically and directly from Google Play.
• Easier authorization of application permissions. You can also add permissions to applications once. If you do not use the application for a long time, its permissions will be automatically revoked.
