Twitter is back after an hour-long outage
Twitter has experienced significant difficulties, after an outage that lasted several hours, preventing users from seeing their tweets and those of other Internet users. A “positive” point for the Europeans is that the problems were mainly encountered at night.
The Twitter outage began last night around 11:45 p.m. according to user feedback. The social network site could load, but no tweets were present. The result was similar on the mobile app side, whether on iOS or Android.
“Twitter may not be working as expected for some of you on the web. We are looking into the issue so you can find the tweets”, has indicated the company’s official account at 1 a.m., not mentioning issues with the mobile app.

It took until 4:11 a.m. for a return to normal. “We’ve fixed this issue and Twitter for the web should be back to normal. Thanks for staying with us! », can we read in a tweet.

Twitter usually communicates the origin of the problem when there is an outage. But this time, the social network preferred to say nothing.
