1. LEGO Star Wars Battles
LEGO is popular and fun! There are already so many games that you really never have to play anything else. Now a new LEGO game has appeared, called LEGO Star Wars Battles. There are already several games in the Star Wars universe, but this one is something else.
In the game you compete against another team (made up of real players) and the objective is to destroy the enemy base. You do this by dragging units onto the battlefield and defeating your opponents.
However, it doesn’t stop there. On the battlefield you will come across towers, which are built in the traditional LEGO way. With those towers you earn coins. When the time runs out, the player with the most coins wins.
Of course you come across a lot of familiar faces from the movies and series in the game, and that remains fun. Do you also like Star Wars and do you secretly dive into your own LEGO collection quite often? Then you should definitely give Star Wars Battles a try. However, remember: to play this game you need requires an Apple Arcade subscription.

2. RTRO – Film Camera by Moment
This app may not be new, but it is a lot of fun and gets regular updates. So what’s so great about RTRO? You make films that have the style of well-known film makers and old music videos.
Think, for example, of the shots you see in the Beastie Boys video clip Intergalactic. Or the old style Quentin Tarantino uses in his films. You can even edit the video a bit in the app. The videos can be sent directly to TikTok or Instagram from the app. But the videos can also be saved on your iPhone.

Actraiser appeared on the Super Nintendo in 1990, but as this remake shows, the gameplay is still incredibly good. In Actraiser Renaissance the game has been given a new look and especially the later levels look really beautiful.
In the game you play the ‘master’ who has to save the world. You do this in the form of an angel and a statue that has come to life.
The game actually has two types of gameplay. The action levels where you fight your way through levels full of enemies and imposing bosses. And the stages in which you will rebuild the cities. Especially this last part has been extensively expanded in the remake.
The control with the touchscreen is difficult, but luckily the game also has support for controllers. Recommendation!

4. I Saw Black Clouds
The game I Saw Black Clouds is an interactive movie. Think of the old games like The 7th Guest and Gabriel Knight 3: The Beast Within.
After the death of a close friend, Kristina returns to her hometown. Here she tries to find out exactly what happened. I Saw Black Clouds is a psychological thriller with several storylines. During the game you regularly have to make choices that influence the course of the film. Note: For the whole story you have to buy the game.

Well, what can we say about this. The title really says it all. It’s just a button. Sounds dull, doesn’t it? That’s what we thought in the beginning, but secretly there is quite a lot hidden in this (somewhat strange) app.
All you do in Just button is tap a button. In the beginning nothing happens, but every so often the app shows some form of life. It starts with speech bubbles, but more and more hidden options are added. In the long run it even becomes addictive and you become curious about what will happen next. And then suddenly you’ve tapped the screen more than 30,000 times…
