1. Tetris Beat
Who does not know the game Tetris? The puzzle game was once conceived by Aleksey Pazjitnov and the first playable version appeared in 1984. Now there is Tetris Beat, a kind of musical variant with a (small) twist.
In Tetris Beat, you try to make the blocks fall to the beat as best you can. This gives the game a fun, extra dimension for making your lines. The controls take some getting used to and it is just too often that you drop a block wrong. The music is beautiful and the game (obviously) timeless. Tetris Beat is part of Apple Arcade, so if you have a subscription, the game is free to download.

2. Marvel Future Revolution
Are you a fan of the Marvel Universe and can’t get enough of Iron Man, Dr. Strange or Rocket Raccoon? Then Marvel Future Revolution is made for you!
It is and remains a freemium game, so you are regularly asked if you do not want to buy something. That’s a shame, because the game looks phenomenal and plays well. Marvel Future Revolution would certainly not look out of place as a full-fledged premium game. That’s why this is now the best game to show the graphics performance of your iPhone 12 (and later iPhone 13)!

3. Behind the Frame
If you regularly watch Studio Ghibli movies on Netflix, then you should check out Behind the Frame. The graphic style and soothing music sometimes seem like something out of one of the films of the Japanese film studio.
In Behind the Frame you are an artist, who is putting the finishing touches to an important painting. Very nice: you have to actually paint pieces during the game. The rest of the game is played as a point-and-click adventure. Unfortunately Behind the Frame is a bit on the short side and after an hour or two you are through the six chapters.

4. Crash Bandicoot: On the Run!
A new season recently launched in Crash Bandicoot: On the Run! which is dedicated to the character’s 25th anniversary. Crash Bandicoot: On the Run! is an ‘auto-runner’ in which you have to guide Crash through all the levels.
Because of the new season, there are new levels waiting for you and you can compete with a handful of new bosses. The nice thing about this new update is that you regularly encounter references to old Crash Bandicoot games. Very nice if you remember the old PlayStation games.
