This portable projector and speaker comes with Android TV

BenQ has introduced a new portable projector that is most similar to a bluetooth speaker. The device also comes with Andorid TV, which means that it supports the well-known streaming services directly through their apps for TV.

BenQ GV30 Projector

BenQ is a well-known manufacturer of computer monitors and projectors, among other things, and it has released a new eye-catching product. When you look at the GV30, it looks like your average Bluetooth speaker, but it comes with a built-in projector and support for Android TV. That is, it is in fact an all-in-one device for entertainment, while it weighs only 1.6 kilograms, writes Android Community.

It is important to know that the projector does not have a built-in battery, so you do connect it to mains power. Then you start the projection. You can adjust the angle up to a maximum of 135 degrees and you can choose the size of the image yourself. A screen between 80 and 100 inches is recommended. The image is HD resolution and the GV30 projects with a brightness of 300 ANSI lumens. There are two modes: one for daytime image and one for nighttime.

Android TV and sound

Then use BenQ’s app to use your phone as a touchpad to control Android TV. You can then use apps like Netflix and Disney Plus, just like on any Android TV. Another option is to cast directly from your phone, and of course you can also connect devices via the two HDMI ports, or with USB-C

If you’re watching a movie or series, the sound will reverberate from the GV30’s built-in speakers. The device features dual 4W speakers and an 8W woofer, and the speakers are designed to direct the sound in different directions. In addition, you can also connect a phone via bluetooth to use the GV30 as a speaker.
