Sony has shared an overview of the update plans for the various Xperia devices. Sony will update a number of devices to Android 11 and will start with it this year.

Android 11 update schedule from Sony

OnePlus, among others, has already rolled out the update to Android 11 for a device, but not all manufacturers are that far. Sony has now shared an update schedule where we learn more about the Japanese manufacturer’s plans. The brand will temporarily update five devices with the update to Android 11.

There are plenty of new functions in Android 11. You can think of improved notifications with a bundle of chat conversations. In addition, there is a new power menu with controls for smart envelopes, there are bubbles for chat conversations, you can take video screen recording, there is improved media control and there are even more new functions.
