This is the release date of Diablo Immortal for Android

After a 1 year delay, Blizzard’s Diablo Immortal finally gets a release date. The American developer has announced in a video that the game will come to Android and iOS on June 2. A PC version will also be available as an open beta on June 2.

The story of Diablo Immortal takes place between the events of the PC games Diablo II and Diablo III. Mankind is threatened by monstrous creatures and demons, and it’s up to your character to restore world peace. You can choose your character from six different classes, each with their own powers. You have the Barbarian, Monk, Wizard, Demon Hunter, Crusader and Necromancer. In 2020 we already got to see a lot of details thanks to an alpha build of the game. Now developer Blizzard is finally announcing the release of the game. Diablo Immortal will be available on June 2 for Android, iOS and PC.

According to our colleagues from IGN Benelux, the mobile version of Diablo has already been tested several times on mobile devices: “We had to wait for the official release date.” In addition, the PC version comes with a number of extras: “The open beta will support crossplay and cross-progression and when the open beta is over, the players will keep their progress. Something that was not the case in the previous tests of the game.” That means players can play with friends regardless of platform, and progress will sync across both mobile and PC once you log in through Battle.net.

Is Diablo Immortal free?

Diablo Immortal is free, but does include optional in-game purchases. According to Blizzard, they don’t operate on an unfair pay-to-win system like other free mobile games.
