This is how you use Google Tasks as a web app in your browser

Previously a standalone website, Google Tasks became part of the sidebar in Gmail in 2019. With that came Google Tasks integration with Gmail, so you can find multiple tools and apps, including Calendar, Keep, Maps, Meet and Chat, in one central location: Gmail. Still, there were many people who preferred to use Tasks outside of Gmail on their laptops, and Google listened to them.

Tasks is available as a web app in your browser. Our Dimitry just found out. He discovered something else: “And when I set a reminder through the Google Assistant, it didn’t show up in Google Tasks. Now it is.” That’s right, the Reminders you set up with the Google Assistant or Calendar have recently been integrated into Tasks.

To use the Tasks web app, go to https://assistant.google.com/tasks in your browser. Here you can now view and manage your tasks and to-do lists in your browser in the same way as on other platforms. Google Tasks is also present in the sidebar of Gmail and you can also install the tasks app as an app on your Android phone. Unfortunately, it is not yet possible to create a shortcut on your home screen from the aforementioned link.
