The UK based company has done its best: the car is powered by a 53 kWh battery pack, has a claimed range of over 150 miles and delivers 500 horsepower! Nice. The Porsche weighs slightly less than with the normal engine. This is due to the use of carbon fiber body panels. It can sprint to 100 km/h in less than 4 seconds. The car also has DC fast charging, which means that the battery can be charged from 10 percent to almost full in an hour.

That is all very impressive, but there are more and more of these types of electrified classics. The unique thing about it are the exhaust pipes. That’s where ‘real’ sound comes out. Of course, the Porsche Taycan can also make a nice (electric) sound. But this car does things differently. Linked to a smartphone application, the fake exhaust emits a sound reminiscent of the six-cylinder in-line engine with which the Porsche was born.

The application can be used to adjust the sound. You can also adjust the pitch and other parameters to tailor the sound to the driver’s preference. The further finish of the classic is great.
