The so-called Corruption Perceptions Index (CPI) identifies the most corrupt countries in the world every year. Nations that perform particularly poorly receive a low CPI value. Meanwhile, many European countries perform comparatively well and show only a low level of corruption.

For the index, independent experts compared 180 countries with regard to factors such as bribes, benefits and abuse of office. The result: The most corrupt countries in the world, which we would like to discuss below.
10th place: Zimbabwe
