These are all voting guides and apps for the 2021 parliamentary elections

On March 17, the Netherlands may go to the polls to elect a new House of Representatives. Have you not yet decided which party to vote for? We help you on your way with an overview of apps and dialing and voting guides!

Voting guides

The best known are of course the StemWijzer and the Kieskompas. To fill this in, you can visit the mobile websites. With both the Kieskompas and the StemWijzer you give your opinion on various statements. At the end you will receive an advice on the political party that suits you best. There are many different voting guides. We have made an overview for you that will keep you happy for a while.

• AD Voting Guide – This election guide contains 30 propositions from 18 party leaders. Find out which party leader your opinion most closely matches.
• Citizen Agenda-Voting Guide – Discover in 7 minutes which solutions for the Netherlands you envision and which party deserves your vote.
• Cannabis Voting Guide – Voting advice specifically tailored to cannabis policy for the parliamentary election on 17 March.
• Jongeren Kieswijzer – As a young person, how do you find your way in a jungle of complicated election programs in often incomprehensible language? This can be done via the Youth Choice Guide.
• Dial Compass
• KiesWijzerWonen – The KiesWijzerWonen consists of 16 statements about the purchase and rental market. Each statement contains an explanation. For each statement you indicate whether you fully agree, partially agree or disagree. After answering the statements, you will receive a ranked overview of the games.
• Uncomfortable Voting Guide – This election guide makes you think about your freedom to choose. For example about your own death, abortion, love and education.
• Feestgedrag.nl – Check whether political parties have promoted your ideals with their voting behavior.
• Party Guide – Find out which political party you are most closely related to.
• Smarter Choosing – On this site it is possible to vote on motions that have been discussed in the House of Representatives in the past. The purpose of the tool is to compare your voting behavior with the voting behavior of the parties in the House of Representatives.
• Vote tracker – Check how the parties voted in the last cabinet term.

Political parties and apps

Once you have a result or several of the above tools, you can possibly further delve into the parties and their positions and election programs. This is of course possible on the basis of an apps. Many political parties have their own app. We have collected a number of them for you.

CDA APPèl

Via this app, the CDA will keep you informed of the campaign and ask you to participate in online promotions. When you do and do not help, you can of course completely determine yourself, participation is completely without obligation.

SP Spits

The SP SPits app wants to keep the SP supporters informed of important online action moments. Consider, for example, major media appearances or if we have new online campaign material. You will be the first to know, but you can also help spread the SP message.

GroenLinks Plek

The GroenLinks Plek app is a social platform with all essential functionalities: news, profiles, groups, messages, calendars, documents and chat. Here you can stay informed of the internal news within GroenLinks.

ChristenUnie

Whether you are a councilor, secretary of a department, mayor, Member of Parliament or campaign volunteer, everyone with a position for the ChristenUnie can find each other online at the ChristenUnie Community. You can reach the community in the app, among other things. The app gives you access to all functionalities of this private community on the ChristenUnie Intranet with push notifications for new messages and reactions.

And especially for the House of Representatives campaign, the app is also available to interested parties with election news. Via the app, the party will keep you informed of their election campaign and you can participate in online action.

Forum for Democracy

Forum for Democracy has an app with news, background articles and videos.

Other apps

You can also go to the Dutch news apps for the latest political news. The apps have set up a separate section in their app for this.

NOS

In the NOS app you can read everything about the campaign, election programs, debates and the candidates. There is also a campaign blog from Monday 1 March where you will find the most important news in the run-up to the elections.

RTL News

The RTL News app can also inform you in all kinds of areas about the upcoming elections, from postal votes to all the news surrounding the RTL election debate last Sunday.

NU.nl

NU.nl is of course also a frequently consulted news source. This app also reports all the news about the upcoming parliamentary elections, and even has its own electoral guide.

Debate Direct

In the House of Representatives, subjects are discussed and new laws are made that concern us all. The debates are public, but not everyone has the opportunity to take a seat in the stands. To make the debates accessible to everyone, the House of Representatives has developed an app: Debat Direct. This free app shows the meetings live on your smartphone or tablet. The name and party of the speaker then appears on the screen, so that the debate is not only visible but also understandable. Additional information such as documents, profiles of MPs and ministers and a floor plan of the room: it’s all there.
