The Sims 4: Nighborhood Stories
The fourth part of The Sims’ popular life simulation has been back in many steps since its release. Electronic Arts has supplemented the absence of much-needed content in recent years with paid additions and free updates. One of the features that The Sims 3 already had in the base will come now, seven years after its release.
The Neighborhood Stories system will finally begin to fully simulate the lives of Sims who do not live in your household and have no control over them. They can choose new occupations, have children, get married or divorce. The feature will still be limited by whether you know the non-playable characters, and they can turn to your characters for advice. Then you can push them in the “right” direction.
You can become a matchmaker or, conversely, break up a couple, because you are interested in one of them. The new feature also has a pair of aspirations – a neighborhood confidant if you want to be the friendly neighbor who helps everyone, and its malicious variant, which lives for the drama of helping breakups.
The free update will arrive in The Sims 4 on November 30th.
