The series adaptation Cuphead has the premiere date -apkrig
Two years ago, Netflix announced that its animation team was working with MDHR developers on a series adaptation of the beautiful but cruelly difficult Cuphead game. It was said at the time that although the series will try to faithfully reproduce the visual appearance of the game, experts from Netflix Animation will not draw it hand by window, but directly digitally. MDHR founder Chad Moldenhauer at the time was quite eloquent – otherwise the series would not have come into being – which reminded us of the difficult development of the game, which dragged on for years because of the animation. In the case of the series, however, this is not the case and the premiere falls on February 18 this year.
The date of The Cuphead Show came along with a trailer that clearly explains that the content of the series will also bother Mugman and Cuphead. The sale of the soul to the devil must not be taken lightly, and it is clear that although we will not control the central pair, the fun in the spirit of Tom and Jerry will undoubtedly be taken care of. Unfortunately, so far there is no indication that The Cuphead Show should have Czech dubbing, which disqualifies smaller audiences who might like the eloquent story. At the same time it is also necessary to point out that although at first glance the series looks like like a game, it is the digital animation that blurs the admitted shortcomings and a certain softness of the whole animation, which you simply enjoy only in the video game presentation.
If you watched the trailer closely, you must have noticed the third important character – Ms. Chalice – which will complete the game in the upcoming DLC The Delicious Last Course in June and will be part of the series. We will see what dynamism it will bring among the brothers, but given that it promises them an allegorical car an evening they will not forget, I obviously have something to look forward to in the spirit of set humor.
