Samsung Galaxy Fold

This smartphone will not only receive a security update, but will also receive a specific version of One UI 3.1.1 created especially for Samsung folding devices. One UI 3.1.1 is modified to make the use of folding phones the best and easiest possible. Originally, this new version of One UI was on the Galaxy Z Fold 3, Z Flip 3 and finally it is also available on older folding smartphones.

One UI 3.1.1 has many useful features that users like. The most used is the Taskbar, which “snaps” your favorite applications to the right side of the screen. Equally popular is the Drag & Split function. For example, it allows you to open two web pages, each on one side of the screen of a folding smartphone. The frequently used Multi-Active Window feature allows the user to change the height and width of an open application.

This update also brings the aforementioned September security package, which can now be downloaded and installed by owners of these smartphones in Korea and some parts of Europe.

All series of mentioned smartphones will certainly see an update in September in Slovakia as well. When the update arrives, you will be notified that it is available for download. Alternatively, you can verify this by going to settings and software updates. If after clicking on the icon download and install will not display any options, so the new September package is not yet available.

More skilled users can use the option to download a file from the firmware database and use the computer to install the firmware manually.
