The Samsung Galaxy A52 receives an August security patch as early as July

Samsung, South Korea, once again shows that it is really serious about updating its models, and can be an example to other Android smartphone manufacturers. According to the Sammobile portal, the Samsung Galaxy A52 now receives an August security patch. Although it’s still only July.

The device thus receives an update even before the Pixels, which are always the first. However, Samsung has been the first to bring updates in the past.

Samsung Galaxy A52: Update already in Europe

The latest update has already arrived in Europe, its availability is reported by users in Germany, Russia and Ukraine. We expect that in the coming days they will also arrive at the equipment that was purchased in Slovakia. The firmware is marked A525FXXU3AUG4.

The manufacturer has not yet officially announced what specific security flaws the update fixes, but as always, these will be bug fixes for Android itself, but also in the One UI extension. Your smartphone should automatically notify you when an update is available. If this does not happen, just enter the settings and search for it manually.

As always, in this case we recommend downloading it via Wi-Fi (if you do not have a large enough data package). Also, don’t forget to keep your Galaxy A52 sufficiently charged, at least 50 percent.
