The remastered GTA trilogy may not be published this year -apkrig

Last week, word spread around the game world that Rockstar was probably working on remasters for GTA III, Vice City and San Andreas. The information was brought by the editorial staff of Kotaku magazine, which referred to sources familiar with the current situation, so that the Video Games Chronicle portal also brought another portion of credibility through a favorable comment. Since then, few have doubted that remasters are actually being created, especially when Take-Two confirmed in early August that it was actually working on three as yet unannounced improved versions of older titles. However, the only thing that may not sit in the final is the estimated launch date, which Kotaku guessed for the end of this year. Insider Tom Henderson, who focuses mainly on Call of Duty and Battlefield, said that according to his sources, the games will not arrive until 2022.

“I didn’t even want to mention the GTA Remastered Trilogy, because everything I’ve heard has already been written. But the only difference is that I don’t trust the forwarded release date. The game will be released sometime in 2022, “wrote Tom Henderson in two tweets. Even in this case, he refers to his anonymous sources, so his information can not be confirmed or refuted, but given the expected release of the next-gen update for GTA V, it is possible that Take-Two, hence Rockstar, does not want to draw unnecessary attention from one important project to another, no less interesting. In addition, the fact that the alleged remasters from Rockstar Dundee (formerly Ruffian Games) are working on the next-gen GTA V update should be in line with this release, so given the need for available manpower, they are unlikely to incur additional responsibilities.

It doesn’t change the fact that Take-Two, along with Rockstar developers, remain indifferent to all the speculation and no comments have been received yet. So we will see with some distance whether the remasters will actually run on the Unreal Engine, or how much the result will be different from the original games with graphic modifications, which naturally came out countless in recent years. On the other hand, players on consoles – and in the case of remasters should include Switch – nothing like that experience they could not, so any graphic enhancement remains desirable. There will also be a lot of envy for music, which is an integral part of the whole experience, but even here we are still groping in the dark.
