The new photo from the movie Uncharted did not please the fans -apkrig

When we informed you last October about Nathan Drake’s first photo from the upcoming film adaptation of Uncharted, there were concerns about Tom Holland being too young for the role. But we took into account the setting of the story before the events of the video game saga and a decent costume, which roughly corresponds to how we would imagine the famous video game treasure hunter. Moreover, not everyone can be grateful, and among some critical responses, there were many who praised the choice of actor and the work of costume designers. However, the current situation around another photo directly from the film – which will arrive on February 18, 2022 – is much worse and the shot of Nathan and his mentor Sully does not offer much room for fan praise.

The New York Times boasted exclusively with the photo as part of an article on video game adaptations. Given that the film has its own story, which is not related to any of the released parts of the game, it is understandably difficult to estimate where the pair of main protagnoists are located, the specific place together with the clothes and appearance of actors compared to video game avatars so many does not fit.

Of course, we can imagine that both heroes are in a given place due to various circumstances that we do not yet know. It is also clear to us that Nathan, played by Tom Holland, undoubtedly works out to the form of your digital image. However, the fans published passionate emotions speak of the evaluation of the photos published without context, and at least for the time being, they do not seem to be in a positive mood. Trifles, such as Sully’s missing mustache by Mark Wahlberg, also come to the fore, and fans seem to have forgotten that this is a prequel.

The film’s budget rose to $ 120 million, or almost 2.5 billion crowns, and it’s definitely not an investment that PlayStation Productions would like to burn.

Here, too, the choice is understandable – movie scenes don’t have to be compared directly to in-game footage – too much of a departure from why Uncharted players like it, but Sony might not pay off. The New York Times also confirms that the film’s budget has risen to $ 120 million, ie almost 2.5 billion crowns, which does not make it the most expensive film of all time (hello Pirates…), but it is definitely not an investment she would like Sony, resp. PlayStation Productions just like that burn. After all, the division wants to attract the attention of other potential customers through films and attract them not only to games, but also to other films that will come down from the PlayStation Productions production lines.

Other such acts include the series The Last of Us or film adaptations of Ghost of Tsushima and Twisted Metal. However, the management of PS Productions, represented by director Assad Qizilbashi, refuted in a statement to the New York Times that a film or series adaptation of God of War, which has recently been speculated about, should be made. As expected, Sony did not disclose further reasons or any details.
