The latest leak has revealed the final design of the Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 headphones

In August, in addition to the new Galaxy Z Flip 3 and Galaxy Z Fold 3 folding smartphones, Samsung will introduce a new generation of Galaxy Watch 4 smart watches and the successor to the popular Galaxy Buds wireless headphones – Galaxy Buds 2. However, their final design has already escaped after the headphones have been FCC certified. The Sammobile portal informed about the news.

Samsung was clearly inspired by the design of the Galaxy Buds Pro when creating the Galaxy Buds 2 headphones. The new Buds 2 will also be hidden in a square case with rounded edges, but it will be two-tone, unlike the Buds Pro case. Buds 2 will be available in several colors, namely black, green, purple or white, but all variants will be white on the outside. The leaked images further reveal that the housing has two LEDs, one inside and the other outside.

Galaxy Buds 2 will have a smaller battery than their predecessor. ANC support is also missing

The headphones themselves will have at least two microphones, an IR-based wear detector and pogo charging connectors. They are expected to support Bluetooth 5.0 with AAC, SBC and SSC codecs and to have the sound tuned by AKG. The headphones will also support wireless charging, but they will probably have a smaller battery than the Galaxy Buds + and will most likely lack active noise cancellation.
