The July update is also coming to the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE

Samsung started releasing the July security app quite early. Now this update is also coming to last year’s flagship killer, the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE. The SamMobile web portal informs about the fact. By the way, this model should get a successor later this year.

The Samsung Galaxy S20 FE continues the trend of July updates

The flagship trio of the Galaxy S20 series received an update last week. However, there are still some in our region who have not yet received the update. Of course, the update for the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE brings a security enhancement that fixes a very large number of bugs and other inconsistencies in the system. Some of them even affected the function of Bluetooth technology. A new firmware called G780FXXU4CUG1 is approaching the LTE variant.

It’s known that in addition to bug fixes, the new version should bring something extra, but we don’t have a screenshot of the list of changes to know what it’s really about.

However, we think that the changelog will remain the same as in the case of the original, flagship Galaxy S20 series. The update is to be spread from Russia and is slowly reaching other countries.

The 5G model could be added in a few days to weeks. For us Slovaks, this means that we will wait a few more days before we receive notifications about the availability of a new update. You can also check its availability in the smartphone settings, more specifically in the software updates section.

In terms of competition, of course, Samsung, but also Xiaomi, for example, has recently looked at its cheap Redmi model. Huawei P20 Lite also pleasantly surprised with the availability of software updates.
