The iPhone 14 with a brand new design is confirmed

Rumors are similar about the 2022 iPhone 14 and its all-new design. Mark Gurman from Bloomberg added to the list today by explaining that Apple engineers have finally worked little on the iPhone 13 to focus almost exclusively on next year’s model.

A new design for the iPhone 14

“With the iPhone 14, you can expect new entry-level and Pro models, as well as a complete overhaul”, explains the journalist. Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, generally well informed, has already mentioned a brand new design for the iPhone 14, including the removal of the notch and a hole to accommodate the front photo sensor. Leaker Jon Prosser also brought up this design, even sharing renderings of what the iPhone 14 Pro would be like.

In addition to the new design for the iPhone 14, it has already been said that Apple will change its range. There would no longer be a mini model, the iPhone 13 mini would be the last. We would find a 6.1-inch iPhone 14, a 6.7-inch “iPhone 14 Max”, a 6.1-inch iPhone 14 Pro and a 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Pro Max.

As for biometrics, Apple does not seem ready to offer Touch ID under the screen yet. Ming-Chi Kuo recently announced that the technology was initially slated to see the light of day in 2022, but Apple has reportedly decided to bring it back to 2023 with the iPhone 15 because development is moving slowly. On the other hand, Face ID would remain in the program and the dedicated sensors would be placed under the screen, starting with the iPhone 14.
