The iPhone 14 Plus is starting to have longer delivery times
This Friday will mark the availability of the iPhone 14 Plus and delivery times are starting to lengthen for the 6.7-inch smartphone, which arrives several weeks after its three brothers. The iPhone 14, 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max have been available for purchase since September 16.
In France, a model order today will be delivered between October 11 and 13. Until now, it was possible to order a model and have it for the day of the release, namely October 7. It should be noted all the same that the difference is slight, with barely a few days of waiting. In comparison, you have to wait until early November for the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max. This was also the case just before their commercialization.
The Monday after preorders began, analyst Ming-Chi Kuo said the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus saw “lackluster” preorder results, worse than the iPhone SE 3 and iPhone 14 Plus. ‘iPhone 13 mini, indicating that the positioning of Apple’s two new models may have failed.
In response to weaker-than-expected demand, Apple asked its suppliers to shift some iPhone 14 production capacity to iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max, the latter of which saw the most high demand so far.
