The improved Fatal Frame for PC and console will be released at the end of October -apkrig
Koei Tecmo informed us about the news related to the improved version of the survival horror film Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water and also released a new trailer. The title, originally released only for the Wii U from a series known in Europe called Project Zero, will hit the market on October 28. The game will be available for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series and Switch.

An improved version of the Maiden of Black Water from 2014 takes us back to the fictional Mount Hikami, but the whole location is inspired by the infamous Aokigahara Forest, located at the foot of Mount Fuji and called the Suicide Forest. Fans can look forward to a completely new photo mode, which was not part of the original, and of course there will also be various post-production effects.
Players will also have access to a whole host of bonus costumes and accessories that were originally censored in Europe, as some soaked nightgowns were probably too obscene for our audience. Unfortunately. This is what happens when a North American fashion version heads out to Europe.
The first part of this Japanese horror saga was released on PS2 in 2001, and it is no coincidence that the improved version of Maiden of Black Water will commemorate the brand’s 20th anniversary. That’s why Koei Tecmo has also introduced a special Digital Deluxe edition, which includes, in addition to the game itself, a digital artbook and six other costumes inspired by characters from previous games.
The original game used the GamePad for the Wii and its gyroscope as the equivalent of a camera to reflect ghosts, and this concept should be very easy to transfer to the Switch. Perhaps the authors will also win with controls for other platforms. Otherwise, it is a classic survival horror of old-fashioned to archaic style, which relies on traditional spirituality and water plays a crucial role in it as a symbol of vulnerability, a natural barrier, a slowing element and a threat.
An official website has also been launched, where you will find details about the story, characters and gameplay.
