You might as well talk about things that immediately annoy you, we will have to wait a little longer to have a release date of this hit assured of the PS5.

Despite everything, this impressive streak introduced by Mathijs De Jonge, the game director, allowed us to discover many new gameplay mechanics. At the start of these 14 minutes of play, we find our heroine Aloy at the bedside of an injured friend. According to him, Erend, a well-known character from the first game, has been taken prisoner by a new enemy faction.

As we can see during the extract, this tribe has the ability to hack and control machines. Aloy therefore immediately sets off in pursuit of these aggressors. The opportunity for developers to unveil a sumptuous coastal area, as well as new machines greatly resembling the Jurassic Park raptors.

And among the flagship novelties of this opus, we obviously note the possibility of exploring the seabed thanks to a device allowing to breathe underwater. A feature already revealed in the first trailer for the title. Be careful, however, the abyss is also occupied by machines and it will be possible to use ocean currents to move faster.

Aloy also gains in mobility, thanks to a grapple and the possibility of scanning the environment to find hanging points and climbing holds. In addition, Aloy also owns a glider, similar to that of Zelda Breath Of The Wild. On the combat side, we find all the arsenal of the first opus with some new features of course, starting with this handy glue launcher to slow down this gigantic Oliphant-like mammoth from The Lord of the Rings.

Our heroine can also charge her spear with mysterious energy to deliver devastating blows. Let’s finish with the scenario, which will probably take place in the San Francisco area (You can see the Golden Gate in ruins in the distance). Nevertheless, it is possible that the player will be required to explore other places in the United States as the end of the sequence suggests.
