The great looking eSports Boxing Club is postponed -apkrig

At the end of March, we informed you about the very ambitious game eSports Boxing Club from the British independent studio Steel City Interactive. Although it is not a big-budget title and is not backed by developer giants, as has been the case with the Fight Night series so far, ESBC looks great at first glance and, according to available information, we had to see full boxing in pre-access mode during the summer. However, the developers inform in the new video about the postponement indefinitely, which, however, was not caused by unexpected problems, but by a new investment. Steel City Interactive can thus start to pay attention to details that they did not originally anticipate, and since this will be the first licensed box in a long time, they do not want to leave anything to chance.

The developer’s diary focuses on a lot of details about the movement of individual boxers and, of course, the punches they will send towards their opponents. The developers also supplemented the shots with an indicator of pressed buttons and moving analog levers, so it is possible to observe even small nuances relatively accurately. They relate, for example, to the movement of the boxer in the ring, which accelerates depending on the deflection of the analog lever. The animation corresponds exactly to this and the developers talk about trying to achieve the highest possible degree of fluency and flawless continuation of individual movements. Boxers who are famous in the history of this sport will then have their own set of special moves, which will also be possible to activate on request after pressing the d-pad.

When it comes to combat, ESBC will be a rather complicated affair, but all in line with making the player really available allwhat real boxers have. For example, the video includes a coverage system that can be completely manual with the ability to determine which side to block at a given moment and at what height, or after pressing the second trigger, the assistant enters control and will partially control the blocking himself. However, it is also possible to strike an opponent from the block, although in such a case the lunges will not be as strong as the prepared direct during the attack. As in other games simulating boxing, stamina will also be very important in ESBC, which is also included in the mentioned animation, and the exhausted boxer will not only perform the usual movements more slowly, but will actually change them and have a certain nature.

This, of course, makes the boxer increasingly vulnerable to possible knockouts, which of course will occur. However, the developers state that they are trying to capture box in detail, so that even a tired or injured boxer can still be very dangerous and decide, for example, a seemingly lost duel with one well-aimed blow. As for boxers, the roster is growing comfortably and includes legendary boxers as well as rising stars. Among the most famous are, for example, Muhammad Ali, Joe Frazier, Rocky Marciano, but also the Kličková brothers, Roy Jones Jr., Juan Manuel Marquez and many others. We must not forget the women, who will also be included in the list and will complement their male counterparts with a slightly different fighting style. The latest star on the roster is Tyson Fury, revealed by people at Steel City Interactive at the very end of their video and in style inside a camera system that takes care of the perfect three-dimensional model.

Esports Boxing Club is waiting to be pre-launched on a PC, but the full version will also target the Xbox Series and PlayStation 5.
