Imagine that you have a phone in your pocket, in a backpack or in a running or cycling bag, someone is calling you and you just don’t feel like or have the opportunity to reach for your mobile phone and see who is trying to connect with you. You may have Bluetooth headphones connected in your ears, but they will connect you they only alert you to a normal ringing tone. What now? You either have to reach for the phone or intentionally miss the call. Yes, if you have a smart watch, some may give you your name and number. But wouldn’t it be better with those headphones? It went. Google is introducing an option for loud announcement of the caller’s name and number.

Signs of this feature appeared in one of the most basic Google mobile tools a few months ago. First as mentions of the upcoming tweaks in the code, then in the advanced options. Now the American giant has begun to introduce it in the full version to the main settings.

When you turn it on, the app will take care of making an incoming call the caller ID sounded in the headphones (Caller ID). We have not yet found a loud announcement of the caller’s name and number in the Google Phone application. But perhaps it’s just a matter of gradual implementation.
