The Galaxy Tab S7 has serious competition

Company Lenovo is one of the few that still regularly releases new Android tablets. Now it has introduced three novelties with excellent equipment and an aggressively low price compared to the competition. The information was provided by the portal GSMArena.

Lenovo Pad Pro 2021

The most equipped model Lenovo Pad Pro 2021 is also the largest of the three. Its OLED display has a diagonal of 11.5 ″, a refresh rate of 90 Hz and a response time of 1 millisecond. The resolution is 2,560 x 1,600 pixels. The display does not support HDR10, Dolby Vision and DCI-P3 colors. The brightness of the display is 420 rivets with a maximum of 600 rivets. It also supports an active stylus with 4096 pressure levels.

The tablet is only 5.8 millimeters thin and weighs 485 grams, which is also a very good value. On the sides of the body are four JBL speakers with a power of 1.5 W (6 W in total) and Dolby Atmos support. The Android 11 system with the ZUI 12.5 extension is powered by the Snapdragon 870 chipset supported by 6 GB RAM. The 128 GB UFS 3.1 internal memory can be expanded with microSD cards. Connectivity is provided by USB-C port (3.1), Wi-Fi 6 (MIMO 2 × 2) and Bluetooth 5.1.

The rear camera consists of a 13-megapixel primary sensor with autofocus and a 5-megapixel ultra-wide sensor. The front selfie camera has an 8-megapixel sensor and a ToF sensor for authentication. The battery has a capacity of 8,600 mAh with support for 20 W fast Charge 3.0. It should provide 15 hours of video playback and 8 hours of web surfing.

Lenovo M10 Plus

An original keyboard with a trackpad can be connected to the tablet via the POGO connector, which gives you a working tool such as Microsoft Surface. The Lenovo Pad Pro 2021 will go on sale in China on May 31 for 320 euros. Availability and pricing outside China have not been announced.

Lenovo Pad Plus 11

Lenovo Pad Plus 11 it has only a slightly smaller 11-inch IPS display with a resolution of 2000 x 1200 pixels. Its refresh rate is only 60 Hz and HDR support is also missing. Fortunately, it still supports the optional stylus and also has the same four JBL speakers as the higher model. The water resistance IP52 will surprise you. The selfie camera also has an 8-megapixel and a ToF sensor. The rear camera offers only one 13-megapixel sensor.

The performance is provided by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G chipset with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal expandable memory. The 7,700 mAh battery is charged by Quick Charge 3.0 and should provide 12 hours of web surfing. There is Wi-Fi 6 (MIMO 2 × 2), Bluetooth 5.1 and GPS. Even in this case, the owner can connect an original keyboard with a trackpad to the tablet. The price of the novelty on the Chinese market is 200 euros.

Lenovo Pad 11

The lowest model Lenovo Pad 11 has the same 11-inch display as the Plus version. The four speakers with Dolby Atmos support have a power of only 1 W (total 4 W). The cameras are the same as in the Plus version. The difference is in the chipset. It is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 662, which complements 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal expandable memory.

The battery has a capacity of 7700 with support for Quick Charge 3.0 (20 W) via USB-C connector. Wi-Fi is only available in version 5 (ac). GPS and IP52 water resistance are not missing. The Lenovo Pad 11 tablet will go on sale in the Chinese market at a price of 140 euros. Price and availability on the global market have not yet been announced for any of the tablets.

Competition

The news will compete mainly with tablets from Samsung and Huawei. The highest model Lenovo Pad Pro 2021 will definitely be a competition for the new Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 FE 5G, which is much more expensive. An alternative is also Huawei MatePad 10.4.
