The Galaxy A52s 5G is the first Samsung to use virtual RAM
Software updates may not always result in a new security update or a new version of the system. An example is a smartphone Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G, which according to the portal SamMobile gets the feature in the new update virtual RAM.
Samsung is not the first manufacturer to bring virtual RAM
Virtual RAM is not such a complete novelty in the world of smartphones and you can find it, for example, in the smartphones of some Chinese manufacturers. An example is the Chinese OPPO, which two months ago introduced this feature for selected models under the name RAM +. It allows you to expand the RAM in your smartphone by converting part of the storage or non-volatile memory (ROM) into virtual RAM with direct access.
Samsung’s virtual memory feature, called RAM Plus, works on the same principle. The first model to receive it is the fresh new Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G. Thanks to it, it will get another 4.GB in addition to the basic 6 GB RAM. This may not be expected to increase the speed of your smartphone, but it could help it with specific multitasking operations.
Other Samsung smartphones are also likely to get the feature
The RAM Plus function is available for the Galaxy A52s 5G smartphone in a software update numbered A528BXXU1AUH9. It should also improve the camera and system stability. It is 250.49 MB in size and is currently available in India. From there, it should be extended to other markets, including the Slovak market, where the novelty has been officially sold for some time.
Other models are likely to get the feature over time. However, the Galaxy A52s 5G is a fresh model of Samsung and, as a successor to the popular Galaxy A52 5G smartphone, it is of course the first to receive it. In addition to 6 GB of RAM, it also attracts customers with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G 5G chipset, water resistance IP 67, 5G support and a 64-megapixel camera with optical stabilization.
