The first part of the dubbed film Kingdom Come -apkrig was released

We drew your attention to the semi-professional Czech dubbing for the game Kingdom Come: Deliverance a year ago in October. The project of the Megarana Studios and Pilger Film group is shaped like a dream come true for Czech players, who will be able to enjoy the work from the Warhorse studio in their native language. However, the road to the implementation of Czech dubbing directly into the play will still be long, and the authors first decided to involve the actors in the film, which is created by combining all the story cutscenes. It is a simpler – albeit still extremely demanding part of the work – which will of course be used for the needs of the game, but at the same time there is room to present it to the fans much earlier than it actually is. Czech becomes Kingdom Come: Deliverance itself. The first part, with a generous, more than an hour’s footage, was broadcast by the authors on YouTube, and it must be admitted that the result is perhaps even better than we expected from the various excerpts.

The authors informed about the gradual publication of individual parts a month ago and promised the first of the planned four beginning of June. They were able to fulfill their commitment in the most pleasant term, ie on 1 June, and according to the responses so far, the creators of dubbing can congratulate themselves. Although people who do not have much previous experience with this craft also take part in the production of dubbing, the team of dubbers was gradually joined by professionals, and in combination with excellent post-production, this is reflected very positively in the result. The introduction, such a well-known cartoon scene, clarifying the circumstances surrounding the reign of Wenceslas IV, belongs to Jan Přeučil, and the voices of Richard Wágner, Petr Gelnar, Karel Zima, Eliška Brumovská, Pavel Vítek and many others involved in the project will be heard. The plot of the first part gets to the point where Jindřich returns to burned-out Skalica and clashes with bandits, preceded by the attack on the protagonist’s home village, a flight to Talmberk, a look at what is happening in the castle and even a sad song by Tereza .

As for the introduction of dubbing into the game mentioned in the introduction, in addition to the cutscenes, it is necessary to translate approximately 70,000 replicas with a length of more than 70 hours, which is not only time-consuming but also costly. For this reason, too, the authors ask for support from fans who would like to see dubbing in the game and set up a transparent account, which currently has less than CZK 800,000. This led to the humiliation of two important financial milestones, which guaranteed the implementation of dubbing into the main storyline, resp. major and minor, including content from the DLC. The next level – 1 million crowns – will also allow the involvement of a larger number of professional dubbers and finally the fourth stage, over a million crowns, thanks to which the directing and production of the dubbing itself can be even better. It cannot go unnoticed that the game’s designer Daniel Vávra also contributed CZK 100,000, who at the same time showed interest in dubbing Mr. Hanuš, to whom he lent his appearance in the game. So we’ll see if this connection happens, and we keep the fists of the authors of this brilliant project.
