The duel in the Guardians of the Galaxy looks very hectic -apkrig

Just a month separates us from the release of Guaridans of the Galaxy from the developers at Eidos Montréal, which was announced during this year’s E3. It is therefore still a slight surprise that the launch came so close, but at the moment there is no indication that the postponement should come to the fore and the fans should probably look forward to it. One of the things that encourages the optimistic mood around the game was the opportunity to try an approximately one-hour demonstration, which was given to representatives of selected media. At their disposal was the fifth chapter, a relatively advanced part of the full version of the game, including not only gossiping on the ship Milano, but also reconnaissance and, of course, combat. The impressions of the journalists are followed by official videos, which summarize the individual parts, and a month in advance we can start to compose a specific picture of how the Guardians of the Galaxy will actually be played. But while things like graphics, humor, or story had a positive effect on game magazine editors, the combat system didn’t universally resonate.

If we were to interpret some of the more critical comments, we can rely on the impressions of British Eurogamer. In his preview, he describes the combat system as very hectic and overwhelming. The reason is the fact that all members of the team approach the skirmishes differently and in the skin of the main character Peter Quill it is necessary to give them relatively precise orders. There was a really large number of enemies in a selected part of the game at one point, and in combination with wild visual effects, according to Eurogamer, there was too much of everything. However, it is fair in the quoted preview that the fact that none of the selected journalists could go through a tutorial or a small battle in which he would acquire the specific control and abilities of the heroes played a role, which can play a rather important role in his own playing. But you can certainly expect a very sophisticated system in which you fight at a distance, as well as at close range, from the air, from the ground and accompanied by a soundtrack from the 80s, or just the announcements of other Rangers. There will also be team combos and features that will strengthen the attack of all members of the strike group for a limited time, but for this purpose it is necessary to play a shorter conversational minigame and choose the right words that will entice Gamor, Rocket, Drax and maybe Groot. . However, if you like the typical humor of the Rangers, you should come to your senses and not everyone is opposed to the chosen system or partial mechanisms. Quite the opposite – certain dysfunction it is said to underline how the team actually (does not) work and everything is said to be in line with the comics and the atmosphere of the film adaptation.

If you pick up an object in each cabin, its owner appears, says a few words to him, offers Star Lord two more choices to continue the conversation, and then they all go their separate ways.

An integral part of the Guardians of the Galaxy will, of course, be exploring space or individual locations, and especially trying not to kill each other while living with other members aboard the ship Milano. The ship, which acts as the headquarters for the transmission of all operations, is a place where you can exchange a few words with other members of the crew and perhaps get to know them better. However, it is rumored from journalists who could try the game that at the moment this is nothing explicitly profound. If you pick up an object in each cabin, its owner appears, says a few words to him, offers Star Lord two more choices to continue the conversation, and then they all go their separate ways. But as we were able to watch in one of the first trailers, Eidos manages to transfer the chemistry among the Rangers to the game processing, and we can imagine that with the growing number of hours played and situations experienced, some jokes may sound even better and work. This should also apply to the Perk system, which has a Rocket under its thumb. For the resources you will find in each mission, players will receive a specific perk in exchange, but it will not be a new ability, but only an upgrade of an ability already unlocked within the character development system. The developers explained this by saying that they do not want to deprive players of anything, resp. to evoke in it the feeling that the collection of resources is necessary for the player to succeed in the more difficult phases of the game, which, however, carries with it the risks of whether perks will really be needed.

But whatever happens with the duel or the perks, from the available previews, you can feel that the journalists actually quite like the game and discreetly reveal the articles that the Rangers are already a better game than the Avengers from Crystal Dynamics. Of course, the comparison can’t be done perfectly – it’s about games of different genres and game content – but at least in terms of experience and satisfaction with the processing of the popular comic book, the Guardians of the Galaxy probably have the upper hand. We are therefore looking forward to how the game will turn out – it will be released on October 26 on the PC, both generations of the PlayStation, resp. Xbox and last but not least on Switch.
