The development of Cyberpunk 2077 will be led by a new boss -apkrig

Studio CD Projekt RED has appointed a new game director for Cyberpunk 2077. Until now, Adam Badowski has held this position. He will now be in charge of other leadership tasks within the team. Gabriel Amatangelo takes his place at Cyberpunk. He joined the CD Project only in January 2020 as a creative director. Prior to that, he worked as a design director on DLC for Dragon Age: Inquisition or as a lead designer on several extensions for Star Wars: The Old Republic. This experience will no doubt come in handy now.

Amatangelo will oversee all further development of Cyberpunk 2077 and its expansion. It is not at all certain that the change in Badowski’s position is somehow related to the acceptance of the game and its problems, as some fans apparently think according to the responses. After all, it will have an equally responsible task of helping the company prepare for transformation, where it is able to work in parallel on multiple AAA projects.

Amatangelo will have the main responsibility for another free and paid DLC or a native version for the new consoles, so let’s keep our fingers crossed.

In any case, great challenges await Gabriel Amatangelo. He is the person who will now be responsible for further fixes and the reputation of Cyberpunk 2077. He must help get the game back to the PlayStation Store, where it has been missing since mid-December. And, of course, he will be the main responsibility for the next free and paid DLC or native version for the new consoles, so let’s keep our fingers crossed.

This is not the only CDP change of guard in recent weeks. The team was completely abandoned by former quest director Mateusz Tomaszkiewicz. After 12 years at the company, he felt it was time for a change. According to him, it was not an easy decision, but he is already looking forward to another adventure.
