In terms of camera performance, the Poco F4 does a little worse than its predecessor, Images in daylight should still succeed. On the other hand, the smartphone scores with a quick charge of less than 50 minutes, which has overtaken the Poco F3 – despite the same battery capacity of 4,500 mAh. The Xiaomi Poco F4 is therefore a worthy successor.

Our editor Peter had already tested the Redmi Note 10 Pro in May 2021 with the conclusion that it a good overall package delivers. With the successor, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G (look at Saturn) the impression continues.
In contrast to its predecessor, the Redmi Note 11 Pro impresses with a 5G modem and a more up-to-date processor. Although the working memory and display are based on the Redmi Note 10 Pro, the Xiaomi cell phone convinces with a smooth performance, which should also enable one or the other game with adjusted settings. However, Xiaomi does not use the telemacro lens in the Redmi Note 11 Pro – the camera performance only achieves a grade of 2.7 in Stiftung Warentest.

Smartphones up to 400 euros: That’s how we made our selection
There are many models for smartphones up to 400 euros. Certain characteristics were an exclusion criterion for us, such as being too old. We have partly based ourselves on our own tests, on the other hand on the results of the Stiftung Warentest – reviews are linked below. The results of other test sites and user ratings also influence the selection. The latter are helpful because they don’t judge based on benchmark numbers and other laboratory values that don’t say much, but instead emphasize individual impressions.
